We took Kyler on his first (of many, I'm sure) trip to the zoo today. Keith had never been and he had more fun than anybody. I've been there too many times to count due to field trips as a teacher, but loved seeing everything thru a 7 month olds eyes. Kyler got wore out pretty quickly and slept thru a lot of it. He was impressed with things like huge goldfish in the pond and waterfalls, instead of giraffes and zebras. Oh well, we'll definately get to experience it again when he is older.
Kyler got up close and personal with one of the brave flamingos. They just gazed into one anothers eyes for a LONG time, pretty intense. It was a little scary but luckily the bird was very calm. Of course the camera wouldn't function at the time so we didn't get a pic, but it was a great memory.
