Baxter is the class mascot in my Kindergarten classroom. He is typically a brown bear, but in the spirit of winter, his fur magically turned white this week! Baxter goes home with one lucky child each weekend and they document their adventures on our classroom blog. This is my first year to attempt doing something like this on a blog, but it has turned out to be super cute. The families have been very responsive, only about 2 kiddos have not participated. Check it out from time to time to see the fun Baxter is having. He came home with me for our 2 week holiday and I will be updating his blog frequently to keep a dialogue going for the kiddos. I think I enjoy it more than they do... hehe...

Cute idea. We have done something similar with our home school group. We shared Patrick the Duck and wrote journal entries. Lots of fun!
